New Print
I am working on an ocean scene in the Carmel area--It is a wonderful colorful scene with beautiful ice-plant of many colors on the hillside and very interesting rocks on the cliffs. I am using sea-turtles at the bottom of the print as I have been interested in them for a long time. Since I havent yet completed the drawing for the print I still have some more decisions to make. This print will be finished late in 2007.
I have also recently completed "Appellation Bennett Valley, Sonoma County, California[Matanzas Creek] which is a vineyard scene and a lavender field taken from a vantage point at the Matanzas Creek Winery. It combines my interest in vineyards and also lavender fields. In 1995 I traveled to Provence to photograph the lavender fields and there are three prints available from that time. This is the first time that I have created a print with both lavender fields and vineyards.
